CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Hamilton County Commissioner Chip Baker spoke to the Pachyderm club Monday as part of his reelection campaign for District 2.

During the meeting, Baker highlighted his background, including serving on the Hamilton County Board of Education, the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport Authority, and the Hamilton County Commission, where he has held chairman and vice chairman roles.

He also reflected on moving to the area more than 30 years ago, noting his involvement in organizing air shows and working with the Riverbend Festival for two decades.

Baker spoke about what went into bringing Signal Mountain High School to life and pointed to infrastructure as a focus, including efforts to improve several roads on Signal Mountain.

He also discussed working with local and state leaders as well as coordination with the sheriff, school board, and chamber of commerce.
