Crews patching another highway pothole

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – The southbound exit ramp onto DuPont Parkway at Access Road remains closed while crews patch a large hole that opened up on the shoulder pavement.

It was caused by a sinkhole on the side of the highway.

TDOT Crews filled it with new asphalt this afternoon, but it will take awhile to cure.

TDOT has had problems with similar potholes on Highway 27 downtown on the aging bridges.
