Dalton Police looking for teens who drove to Atlanta in family car

The car was found wrecked today in Snellville

DALTON, Georgia (WDEF) – Dalton Police are looking for a couple of runaway teens accused of stealing a car in the process.

The teens are 14 year old Kara Sosebee and 15 year old Kadence Patterson.

Police say a family member left them in a car at one of the mother’s work place to be picked up.

But the girls didn’t wait, they drove off in the car.

On Tuesday, the car crashed in Snellville.

A witness saw the girls flee the scene on foot.

But Gwinnett authorities have not been able to find them.

Kara Sosebee stands 5’1” and weighs 110 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt and blue jeans. Kadence Patterson stands 5’6” tall and weighs approximately 110 pounds. She has dark blonde/brown hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a white hoodie and ripped blue jeans.

According to witnesses to this afternoon’s wreck, they appeared to still be wearing the same clothes.
