DeKalb County drug arrests and escapee

DeKalb County, AL (WDEF) – One person remains at large after a drug bust in DeKalb County.

Deputies and 7th Drug Task Force Agents served a drug warrant at a home on County Road 696 in the McKestes area.

They found 80 grams of Ice Methamphetamine with a street value of $8,000, 3 loaded pistols, a large set of postal scales, numerous glass pipes and syringes.
They arrested 47-year-old Anthony Renfroe and 34-year-old Courtney Steele.

Renfroe is charged with Trafficking in Illegal Drugs, and Steele with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 

While deputies and agents were clearing the scene, Steele escaped through the window of the Deputies’ car with her hands still handcuffed behind her back.

She was last seen wearing a navy blue shirt and blue jeans.
