Don’t click that EPB email link.. it’s a scam!

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) The Electric Power Board is warning customers about an email scam.

Several customers have reported getting emails with the subject line “Epbfi.com Server Congestion.”

The message claims that the company is holding your incoming emails until you re-verify your account.

And it gives you a link called “verify.”

DON’T CLICK IT.

It is really a phishing attempt to get your data.

EPB officials say they will not ask you to verify your account by email.
