Don’t click that EPB email link.. it’s a scam!

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) The Electric Power Board is warning customers about an email scam.

Several customers have reported getting emails with the subject line “ Server Congestion.”

The message claims that the company is holding your incoming emails until you re-verify your account.

And it gives you a link called “verify.”

It is really a phishing attempt to get your data.

EPB officials say they will not ask you to verify your account by email.

Call EPB at (423) 648-1372 if you have questions.
