Drug arrest in Skyline Alabama

SKYLINE, Alabama (WDEF) – A Jackson County deputy resolved an outstanding warrant during a traffic stop late Tuesday night.

Deputy Travis Stevens pulled over a vehicle on County Road 25 in Skyline.

He found the driver, 26 year old William Christopher Smith from Scottsboro, was wanted.

He also found drugs in the vehicle.

The JCSO Narcotics Unit responded to help process the scene.

They came up with a pound of marijuana and four grams of Meth.

Smith was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), Possession of Marijuana 1st degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
