Dual Admissions Agreement Between UTC & Cleveland State

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and Cleveland State Community College are now linked together for the benefit of area students.

At a ceremony Friday morning at UTC, Chancellor Steven Angle and CSCC President Dr. Bill Seymour signed a duel admission agreement.

It provides a clear path for students who may want to transfer to the university for their final two years.

UTC Dean Dr. Valerie Rutledge says, "I think one of the best things is, a student can feel already engaged at UTC as he or she comes to ballgames, or uses the library or participates in other events; which is something we haven’t had before. So I think it gives them an identity that will connect them to UTC."

Cleveland State students will be issued UTC student I.D. Cards.

Also, they can take advantage of the university’s campus services for a nominal fee.
