Dunlap Guardsman sends back photos of Virgin Islands destruction

DUNLAP, Tennessee (WDEF) – We hear about how Puerto Rico is struggling since Hurricane Maria struck.

But don’t forget their Caribbean neighbors in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

As we told you yesterday, National Guardsmen based in East Tennessee have arrived in the Islands to protect relief supplies.

They are part of the 117th Military Police Battalion headquartered in Athens with a company in Cleveland.

One of the MPs on duty now is Dunlap Detective Robert Raber.

He has been sending back photos of the devastation on St. Croix and the Dunlap Police Department has posted them on their Facebook page.

Take a look.
