Early Voting Begins in Tennessee
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Early voting in Tennessee began today.
Early extends until April the thirtieth, and the voter registration period has already passed.
After Early voting, the official primary election day is Thursday, August sixth.
Voters will decide on who will proceed to the General Election, which is coming up in November.
Nate Foster, Assistant Administrator of Elections at the Hamilton County Election Commission tells us, “We have two Saturdays that are included so we have hours to fit most everyone’s schedules and you don’t have to go to a specific early voting site like you do on election day, you have to go to your precinct for early voting. You can go to any of our six locations in the county and vote. Just make sure you bring that valid ID with you.”
