East Ridge Police identify body found at High School
EAST RIDGE, Tennessee (WDEF) – Police say the man found at East Ridge High School last night was Jason Lamkin.
Officers were called about an unconscious male on the ground around 9:30 PM.
EMS workers pronounced him dead shortly afterward.
The victim’s sister says she got a call from a roommate that he had dropped Lamkin’s body in the school parking lot after he became unresponsive.
When police talked to Nicholas Sloan, he told them that he drove Lamkin to buy some pills from an individual.
On the way home, he said he noticed that Lamkin was unresponsive.
When he couldn’t rouse his roommate, he pulled into the High School parking lot and left him on the ground.
Police have charged Nicholas Sloan with abusing a corpse.
