Emily’s List of Weekday Activities – July 9, 2018

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — There’s a lot to do in Chattanooga and in nearby cities this week.

If you’d like to learn how to use an Instant Pot, or perfect the skills you already have, the Chattery is hosting a No Pressure: Instant Pot 101 class Wednesday night.

You’ll also be able to cook a delicious meal of chicken tacos, and black beans and rice in this demonstration class.

It starts at 6 p.m., Wednesday, at Chattanooga WorkSpace.

If you like comedians who do well known impressions, you’ll want to head over to the Comedy Catch late Wednesday night.

For one night only, Frank Caliendo will do some of his most popular impressions and comedy, plus new characters.

He can impersonate politicians like former Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton, and actors Robin Williams and Robert DeNiro.

The show starts at 9:30 p.m.

If you and your family like to exercise together, you all can get a workout in this Thursday night over at Coolidge Park for City Sweat: It’s About the Family.

Matt Averyhart and LaTasha Bester will be leading the event, featuring a family friendly workout, with a little competition at the same time.

It starts at 6 p.m.

If you like musicals, East Brainerd Community Theater will be putting on their version of Guys and Dolls this Thursday and Friday night.

The shows start at 7:30 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church on East Brainerd Road.
