Emily’s List of Weekday Activities – November 27, 2018

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — There’s a lot to do in Chattanooga and in nearby cities this week.

Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday, and this year you can donate at the #CHAgives Pop-Up Party, while learning more about non-profit organizations throughout the Scenic City.

The event is happening at Miller Plaza from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Participating organizations are listed on CHAgives.org.

You can also put on your dancing shoes Tuesday night, and support the Bethlehem Center on Giving Tuesday.

The non-profit is hosting its third annual night of dancing – United We Dance.

There, you can learn salsa, zumba and line dancing from local instructors.

Proceeds benefit the Beth’s Read to Lead Academy.

The event is from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Granfalloon.

On Tuesday night, join Southern Adventist University students and employees at a special Christmas tree lighting event on-campus.

You can walk along the promenade, while enjoying live holiday music, treats, and other activities.

It all starts at 6:30 p.m. around Taylor Circle, off University Drive.

Noontunes is happening again this Wednesday at Miller Park.

The Chattanooga Girls Rock Stars group is performing at the event.

The band is made of female volunteers, instructors and adults involved with CGR, which empowers young women through music.

Their performance starts at 12 p.m.
