CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — There’s a lot to do in Chattanooga, and in nearby cities this weekend.
Put on those dancing shoes. The Revelry Room at the Chattanooga Choo Choo is hosting the first Salsa on the Southside, Friday.
Whether you’re a pro, or just a beginner, you can dance the night away to your favorite Latin music.
A complimentary dance lesson will be taught earlier by local G2G salsa dance instructor, Jesse Ramos.
The event starts at 8:30 p.m.
Hey, Harry Potter fans – you can rewatch the movies featuring the world’s most famous wizard at the historic Fox Theatre in Atlanta.
The theatre is hosting a Harry Potter Film Series, showing the first three films based on J.K. Rowling’s books, Saturday afternoon.
The Fox will show the rest of the films the following weekend.
The first movie starts at 12 p.m., Saturday.
In North Georgia, you can always head over to Lake Winnie Saturday afternoon to see Noah Cyrus in concert.
She may be the younger sister to superstar Miley Cyrus, but she’s making a name for herself, performing at the MTV Movie Awards, and other major TV shows.
Noah Cyrus’ acoustic performance is free with paid admission into the park.
Her show starts at 4 p.m.
If you prefer a cappella music, the 10-man group “Straight No Chaser” is performing in Nashville Saturday night.
They’re known for their Christmas music, and covers.
The show is at 7:30 p.m. at the Ascend Amphitheater.
If you’re looking to do some bargain shopping, check out the world’s longest yard sale, happening through Sunday.
Several main vendor stops are in the area.
