End of Watch Ride to Remember honors fallen officer in Walker County

WALKER COUNTY, Ga. (WDEF) – For 84 days between May 28th and August 19th, 6 riders will be traveling over 22 thousand miles across the country to honor fallen police officers who paid the ultimate price for our communities in 2020.

Today they rode into Lafayette in honor of Walker County’s sheriff Captain Phillip Street.
Spokesman and founder, Jagrut Shah, says they want to show departments and their families who have lost partners that they aren’t alone.
“We have 339 officers on our beautiful memorial and we visit those departments. This year we’re doing it in 84 days. 194 departments, 22,500 miles,” says Shah.
End of Watch Ride to Remember is a group of motorcycle riders from the state of Washington escorting a 41 foot trailer across the country to honor the fallen officers.
