EPB raising prices on television packages

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – EPB Fiber Optics is raising prices for television packages in the new year.

The increase range from $2 to $8.

Internet and phone prices remain the same.

EPB officials blame the hike on increasing content prices.

“This increase is a straight pass-through from locally operated television networks and national channels to customers,” said EPB president and CEO David Wade. “EPB is charging just enough to cover the cost of content increases.”
