EPB says they’re prepared for coming storms

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — As storms are expected to continue this week, power outages could still happen.

EPB says they’re prepared for anything that comes.

With the ground saturated with water, trees could easily fall and disrupt power lines

EPB has crews on standby ready to make repairs.

Sophie Moore PR Specialist at EPB tells us, “Like everyone this time of year, we are watching the weather very closely and so when we do see a threat of severe weather in the forecast, we’re preparing our teams and if necessary, calling in additional crews from outside our service area.”
