Expect the Unexpected For Dalton-NW Whitfield Rivalry

Tunnel Hill, GA-(WDEF) Movie legend Forrest Gump might describe the Dalton-Northwest Whitfield rivalry like a box of chocolates because you never know what you’re gonna get.Take last year’s showdown.
The field was littered with offensive talent, including some D-one signees.
Both teams also featured solid quarterbacks in Dalton’s J.P. Tighe and the Bruins Luke Shiflett.
And yet the final score was 10-3 Dalton.
Bruins coach Josh Robinson says it will be hard to predict Friday night’s rematch because of the intensity of the rivalry.
Said Robinson:”I think when Dalton and Northwest play you can throw out records. You can throw out scores. You can do all of that because both teams want to beat each other pretty bad. They obviously hold a series advantage over us. Both teams play really hard. Probably out-perform how they typically perform.”
