Family fun at the Chattanooga Boat Show

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee (WDEF)-A family fun boat show is still underway at the Chattanooga Convention Center.

Roughly a third of the boats on display this weekend were made in eastern Tennessee.

Director of the show Ryan Jones says these types of events bring out families and boating enthusiasts of all ages to bond over their love of being out on the water.

“It’s the boating event of the year even though we’re not out on the water. You can bring your family, kids love it it’s a great community of people to get everybody in boating together. It’s a big building down the community really gets into it,” said Jones.
