Feds raid Chattanooga home; couple busted with laundry list of narcotics and guns

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee (WDEF) – A Chattanooga couple is facing a total of 20 drug related felonies after their home was raided by DEA agents and members of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division.

According to an arrest affidavit obtained by News 12, federal and county law enforcement officers executed a narcotics search warrant at a home in the 8700 block of Manor Trail.

The home was occupied by Daniel Hixon, 31 and his girlfriend Morgan Sears, 21.

During a search of the couple’s residence and vehicle, authorities located:

  • 97 grams of Methamphetamine/Ice
  • 42 doses of LSD
  • Close to two grams of Heroin
  • 15 doses of Suboxone
  • 137 doses of Xanax

According to law enforcement, the couple admitted to being users of the illegal narcotics and involved in the sales of the illegal narcotics.

When authorities searched the couple’s garage, they located a laundry list of items used to produce Meth.

Hixon told investigators, he used the items found in the garage to produce meth in a lab at another location.

Federal and County law enforcement officers also found four illegal firearms in the couple’s truck.
