First of Animals Rescued from Sequatchie County Hoarding Case Adopted

(WDEF)      Officials celebrated the first adoption of a dog recovered from the Sequatchie County animal hoarding case Tuesday.
     Tippy was adopted from the Chattanooga Hamilton County Humane Educational Society.
     Kim and Dale Bolton decided to give the dog a new home.
     The couple recently lost their family pet and knew Tippy would be another great pet to love.
     His new owners plan rename the dog Steve.
     Kim Bolton explains, "When we heard about these dogs that were becoming available, we wanted to adopt one of them.  So we came and looked last week and he caught our eye immediately."
     Wednesday another family will adopt the second animal rescued from the Sequatchie County case.
     Then on Thursday three dogs will leave for the Rescue Waggin.’
     That’s another animal rescue adoption place.
     It has an average adoption rate of 1.9 days.
