Former Alabama coach Gene Stallings suffers heart attack
DALLAS, Texas (WDEF) – Coaching friend Pat Dye says Gene Stallings should recover from a heart attack he suffered over the weekend in Dallas.
The former Alabama coach was placed on a ventilator after developing a clot.
Stallings has already suffered two minor strokes earlier this year.
But both Dye and Personal assistant Lynn Huggins say the doctor expects him to make a full recovery.
Stallings is 82 years old.
He coached the Crimson Tide from 1990-96, winning a national championship in 1992.
