Former Mocs LB Tae Davis makes New York Giants roster
NEW YORK (WDEF) — Former University of Tennessee-Chattanooga linebacker Tae Davis has officially made the 53-man roster for the New York Football Giants.
The Giants released their final 2018 roster Saturday, listing Davis as one of nine linebackers chosen to represent Big Blue this season.

New York signed Davis immediately after the conclusion of the 2018 draft. As a free agent pick-up, Davis recorded 14 total tackles in the Giants’ four preseason games. He shined with six solo tackles against New England on Thursday.
According to reports, the Giants like the undrafted rookie on special teams.
Davis played four seasons in a Mocs uniform. Even after missing two games last season, the linebacker led the defense with 74 tackles. He also represented UTC in the 2018 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl in Pasadena in January.
