Four killed in Georgia car accident
CARTERSVILLE, Ga. (AP) – Four people are dead, including a 6-year-old boy, after an accident in Georgia’s Bartow County.
News outlets report that police investigating the late Friday accident said a car didn’t stop at a stop sign and hit a pickup truck with three people inside. The four people in the car were killed.
Georgia State Patrol identified the victims as 41-year-old Shannon Hartsfield, of Cartersville; 53-year-old Nancy Evans, of Acworth; and 36-year-old Richie Willis, of Adairsville. The child’s name has not been released.
The three people in the truck were taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. Their names were not released.
