Free concert in Dalton for Georgia Cities Week
DALTON, Ga. (WDEF) — The City of Dalton will host a free concert in Burr Park on April 28 for Georgia Cities Week.
The 24th annual Georgia Cities Week highlights the work that cities across the state do to positively impact its citizens.
The free Dalton concert will be downtown, with food trucks on site.
The event will last from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. on that Friday.

The Buckner Brothers will be performing at this event. They feature blues and jam music and have been performing for over 40 years.
The City of Dalton said the confirmed food trucks at the event will be Egg Roll Boyz, All Around the World and Island Chef.
Georgia Cities Week will last from April 23 to April 29. It was created by the Georgia Municipal Association.
“We hope that the community will join us on April 28th to celebrate these and many other achievements and help us keep the momentum going to make Dalton the best place in Georgia to live, work, and play,” the City stated.
