Free N95 Masks Available at Food City

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Food City stores in our area are offering free N 95 face masks to customers and associates.

In mid-January, the federal government announced plans to distribute 400 million masks through retailers around the country.

Food City will be receiving several shipments of these high-quality face coverings, which will be available at the front of the store, while supplies last.

“When our customers walk in our store, there will be a sanitation table set up, and the masks will be there, and we want the customers to take one and use it at their discretion, but there will also be hand sanitizer there, and we also do sanitize our buggies for our customers, as well,” said Food City District Manager Rodney Dillard.

Food City’s partnership with Topco enabled them to meet the government requirements necessary to acquire the free masks.

The supermarket retailer has also worked with local health departments to provide other vital services during the pandemic.
