Gatlinburg residents allowed back full-time

Gatlinburg, Tenn. (WDEF) — Sevier County, the City of Gatlinburg, and TEMA announced that on Wednesday residents and business owners were allowed back into the area full-time.

Officials warned residents that many hazards remain in the area including debris, exposed electrical wires, smoldering materials, and unstable structures.

The official recovery website for Sevier County is mountaintough.org and local residents can call 211 (or 865-215-4211 outside the local area).
