GBI searching for Adairsville shooting suspect, witness
ADAIRSVILLE, Ga. (WDEF) – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Adairsville Police Department are asking the public for help to identify individuals connected to an early morning shooting in Adairsville, Georgia.
According to the GBI, a shooting incident occurred around 3:35 a.m. Monday morning at the Quick Trip on Highway 140.
The GBI says 30-year-old Jonathan Michael Meyer of Clearwater, Florida was shot and airlifted to a hospital in critical condition.

The GBI describes the suspect as a male wearing a light-colored T-shirt, dark backpack, and a dark ballcap. The GBI also says the suspected got into the passenger side of a late 90’s model 4 door Toyota sedan, possibly a Camry.

According to the GBI, a white female in a camouflage shirt is a witness that may be able to identify the suspect. The GBI says she has a distinguishing mark or bruise on the inside portion of her left thigh above the knee.
