Get Ready for the Chattanooga Tree Inventory
CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – The city of Chattanooga is warning residents that personnel may come to your street looking at the trees in the next week weeks.
The Department of Public works has scheduled their Tree Inventory of the city over the next six weeks.
Contractors from ArborPro will do the surveying.
They will canvas downtown Chattanooga to catalog the location, size and condition of city-owned trees.
Chattanooga is kicking off a six-week survey of all downtown trees to better assist the city in maintaining the community’s character and beauty.
The techs will have PPE, wear reflective safety gear and be carrying tablets.
They will also have documentation that they work for the city.
The survey is paid for they the Lyndhurst Foundation.
