Gov. Bill Lee asks Tennesseans to pray for Meigs County families
NASHVILLE (WDEF) – Tennessee Governor Bill Lee held his first news conference in two weeks since self-isolating after exposure to a Covid-19 person on his security detail.
Neither his wife or himself got sick or tested positive.
But he began his briefing by remembering the victims of the Meigs County bus crash.
“Our hearts are with our neighbors in Meigs County, and we will continue to keep their community in our prayers.”
The Governor also encouraged people in the region to donate blood.
