Grundy deputy seizes blotter acid from Alabama-bound vehicle
PELHAM, Tennessee (WDEF) – A Grundy County deputy seized 200 hits of suspected LSD overnight in the Pelham community.
Pelham is on the far side of the Cumberland Plateau, just off I 24.
Around 4 AM, Deputy Randy Wildes was checking a gas station in the area when he spotted a vehicle parked at a closed business.
There were two people inside.
The deputy reported a strong aroma of marijuana.
Further investigation lead him to the “blotter acid.”
A preliminary field test identified the substance as LSD.
The suspects were headed to Madison, Alabama.
