H.C.S. starts online registration for all returning students

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) – Hamilton County Schools parents can now register their kids online.

Online registration started Wednesday.

This is the first time the school system has offered online registration for all returning students.

All parents need is access to the internet and a snapcode.

You can go to the school system’s website to start the process.

If you don’t have a snapcode, call the main office.

They can help you get another one.

Communications Officer Tim Hensley said they hope to save parents and the school system time.

“We just looked at it as something that would be very convenient for parents. Instead of having to come to school on a particular day or getting a packet of papers coming home and I’ve got to sit down and fill all this out, now you get about a month to really take your time and do it when it’s convenient for you and do it online,” Hensley said.

Parents have until September 7th to register their child online.

If you need some help or don’t have a computer, there will be days that parents can come into the school and register.

Call your local school for more information.
