Hamilton Co. Man Charged with TennCare Fraud

Hamilton County, TN (WDEF) Prosecutors charge a Hamilton County man with using TennCare to pay for a fraudulent prescription.

Investigators say 42 year old Harry Rawlings with using a forged prescription to get Oxycodone at a local pharmacy.

If convicted, Rawlings could get a two to four year prison term.

“The Office of Inspector General has a zero tolerance for people who use TennCare to support prescription drug abuse,” stated Inspector General Manny Tyndall.

“We appreciate and value the hard work of the physicians and local law enforcement across the state and their efforts in helping us develop these cases.”
