Hamilton County Fair

Day one of the Hamilton County Fair kicked off Saturday at Chester Frost Park.

Hundreds of people took the shuttle from Northgate Mall and Middle Valley Recreation Center to attend the event. Tents full of crafts, food and children’s games were at the park for everyone to enjoy. There was even dancing and singing performances from local participants. This year marks the 25th anniversary for the Hamilton County Fair. Mike Dunne, Hamilton County Mayor’s Office said, "There’s terrific food here. There’s terrific arts and crafts and fantastic music. We really have done a terrific job on the Dallas Island stage in terms of giving really great performers. I’ve walked by a couple of times, and each time I have heard music I like, so I’m a big fan of that. And of course we have News 12 also over here giving out identification bands so we appreciate that."

The fair will be open again Sunday from 10 am until 6 pm.
