Hamilton County Schools to close two hours early Monday

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)_ Hamilton County Schools will be closing two hours early today and cancelling all after school activities.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Hamilton County Schools plan to open as scheduled on Monday morning, September 11th.

Hamilton County Schools spokeswoman Amy Katcher tells News 12 that the district will follow standard procedures for weather events.

Katcher also says Hamilton County Schools will continue to consult with emergency management officials to be aware of any possible issues.
