HCSO Deputy Landon Faulkner dies following Highway 111 crash

UPDATE: The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) has officially confirmed the death of Deputy Landon Faulkner.
According to the HCSO, Deputy Faulkner was involved in a serious collision on Highway 111, where he collided with a disabled vehicle in a travel lane on Wednesday evening, and later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating this incident, and all further questions about the vehicle collision should be directed to their agency.
UPDATE: The deputy who is being treated for life-threatening injuries following a crash on Highway 111 has been identified as 24-year-old Landon Faulkner.
According to a report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Faulkner was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Faulkner was driving a 2020 Ford Explorer that struck the back of a 2015 GMC Sierra, which was disabled in the left hand lane of State Highway 111.
