Heritage Students To Stay Out of School For 21 Days

Catoosa County, GA (WDEF) Two Heritage students will stay home from school for 21 days after a mission trip to Uganda.

Many parents were worried about the girls returning from Africa, even though they were not in an Ebola infected zone.

Catoosa County School officials have been in contact with the parents.

They say they’re thrilled the mission trip went well and the girls are healthy.

Officials say they’re not concerned the girls might have been exposed to the Ebola virus, but have worked out an off-campus learning environment for them.

This is so the girls will be welcomed back to school in several weeks.
