Highway 58 Volunteer Fire Department blood drive

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee (WDEF)-The highway 58 Volunteer Fire Department hosted a blood drive to aid in the blood shortage.

Blood assurance blood donation bus was outside Fire Station One accepting blood donors this afternoon.

Highway 58 volunteer Fire department wanted to help with the blood donation shortage and was more than happy to allow blood assurance to use the space.

The Fire Department says with there being such a short supply you never know when blood is needed to save a life.

There will be a full health screening next week at Southern Day Adventist church on Orchard Drive next weekend.
