Hughes Avenue Shooting

Chattanooga Police Investigating

Chattanooga Police responded to a person shot on Thursday night.  It happened around 8:16 on Hughes Avenue.   When police arrived, they found 39-year-old Jasmine McCann suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot injury.   Police were advised that McCann had an argument with her boyfriend, 38-year-old Marcus Jackson as she sat in her car.  Police say at some point during the altercation, her boyfriend pulled a gun and fired into the victim’s car, striking her.  Jackson fled the scene.  If you have any information concerning this shooting, please contact CPD.
