Jeff Styles creates podcast to tell his story of the road rage case

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Suspended Talk Show Host Jeff Styles says he still hasn’t been able to tell the full story about the run-in that got him shot.

So he has recorded a podcast and created a website to get it out there.  And he talked to us today about why he feels people still don’t understand what happened.

Police charged him with aggravated assault and vandalism.

And after a hearing last week, the case was bound over to the grand jury.

But Styles was not satisfied with the hearing,  saying he didn’t get enough time to explain why he challenged the driver following him.

And he doesn’t understand why he got charged and the other guy didn’t.

So now he has gone two months without a paycheck and is waiting to see if a grand jury will indict him.

“I’ve got to tell my story or I’m going to burst.”

On the website, he lays out a timeline of the events that led up to the confrontation.

He feels he picked the right time and the right instrument (a tomahawk, or camping implement) to keep from being shot and killed.
