Job Skills Bus comes to Chattanooga
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Department of Youth and Family Development and the Tennessee Career Center have partnered to bring a job skills bus Wednesday, April 12th.
The bus provides work-readiness training to the community. The Urban League of Greater Chattanooga will also be on hand to match candidates with job positions available.
The job skills bus is equipped with computers and Wi-Fi for community members seeking employment to have a space to learn how to build an attractive résumé for employers and apply for jobs they are interested in on the spot. They will be certified in the requisite skills and knowledge to secure a job and be a reliable, exceptional employee.
The bus will be located at the South Chattanooga Youth and Family Development Center, 1151 W. 40th St. Chattanooga, TN 37409.
It will be there from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm.
The job skills bus is open to all community members and no appointment is necessary.
