Jumbo Shrimp Rally From 6-0 Deficit to Beat Lookouts 9-6

(lookouts.com) CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) — Braxton Lee, Austin Dean and Rodrigo Vigil each had three hits, as the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp beat the Chattanooga Lookouts 9-6 on Monday.

Dean doubled and singled twice, driving in two runs.

Chattanooga went up 6-0 in the second after Andy Wilkins hit a grand slam.

After tying the game in the fifth, the Jumbo Shrimp took the lead for good in the sixth inning when Dustin Geiger doubled to bring home Vigil, Lee and John Norwood.

Joe Gunkel (3-6) got the win with two innings of scoreless, one-hit relief while Randy LeBlanc (3-4) took the loss in the Southern League game. Clayton Mortensen pitched 1 1/3 scoreless innings for his fourth save of the season.

The six extra-base hits for Jacksonville included a season-high six doubles.

Wilkins homered and singled, driving home four runs for the Lookouts.
