Kane Brown Nominated for 3 CMT Awards, will Co-Host Show

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WDEF) — Tennessee Valley native and country music star Kane Brown will be co-hosting the CMT Music Awards next month.

It’s his second time hosting.

Kelsea Ballerini will be helping him with hosting duties for country music’s only entirely fan-voted award show.

The nominees were announced Thursday, and Brown is in the running for three of them.

Kane is up for Video of the Year for his song “Worldwide Beautiful,” Male Video of the Year for “Worship You,” and Collaborative Video of the Year with Chris Young for their song “Famous Friends.”

Kane mentions Hamilton County in that song, by the way.

You can catch the CMT awards on Wednesday, June 9 at 8 p.m. EST on CMT.

It will also be simulcast on five other channels, including MTV and TV Land.

Fans have until June 1 to vote for their favorites on vote.cmt.com.

We’ll find out who’s performing at a later date.
