Kane Brown will also perform with Chris Young on CMT Music Awards
NASHVILLE (WDEF) – Not only will Kane Brown host the upcoming CMT Music Awards, he’ll get a prime performance slot too.
CMT announced performers for the show on Wednesday.
The Tennessee Valley native had already been announced as a co-host with Kelsea Ballerini.
But now we learn he will also perform with Chris Young, most likely their current hit duet of “Famous Friends.”
Brown’s former LFO schoolmate, Lauren Alaina, will perform with Jon Pardi. (Lauren also has landed a slot on the upcoming Georgia-Florida Line tour starting in September in Atlanta).
Brown is also nominated for several of the awards.
The show will be on June 9th, aired on CMT, MTV, MTV2, Logo, Paramount Network and TV Land.
We also got a new look at the Kane Brown/Chris Young relationship this week when Young posted video of Brown pranking him during a video shoot.
