Larry Crim To Pursue GOP Nomination for U.S. Senate

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- U.S. Senator Bob Corker isn’t up for election until August of 2018, but he has already drawn a republican opponent in the primary.

Nashville resident Larry Crim is traveling across the state to promote his candidacy.

“The things that i’m for are things that he’s opposed. I’m for, uh, veterans benefits being assured. He’s for veterans benefits being denied. I’m for our social security..people that have paid social security all their life–that’s their money. The government has no business borrowing from it, sequestering it, stealing, whatever you want to, and Bob Corker has cut both of those—led the way to cut both of those areas,” said Larry Crim.

Crim says he will make several appearances here in Corker’s hometown of Chattanooga as he pursues the GOP nomination.
