Local Company awarding scholarships for kids to go to Summer Camps

CLEVELAND, Tenn (WDEF) – Summer is right around the corner and for the first time in a year summer camps will be allowed to reopen to children.

Boundless Moving and Storage is wanting to help 20 underserved children in the area to attend the Fellowship of Christian Athlete’s summer camps.

The scholarships will total $5,000 and will allow the children to participate in the four-night camps where they will be given comprehensive athletic, spiritual and leadership training in a fun and challenging camp environment.

The camps will take place this June and July at several locations in east Tennessee and northern Georgia.

“It’s been a really tough year for a lot of folks, parents and kids combined. For kids to be able to get together , enjoy each other, build teamwork, build leadership and character skills. It’s important for them to get back into some sense of normalcy. Sometimes the best way to do that is to get involved in camps , have fun and look forward to the school year in the fall,” says Matt Carlson, Owner of Boundless Moving & Board Member for FCA
