Local School Threat traced to teenager in Indiana

"someone is going to shoot up a school in two days"
HAMILTON COUNTY, Tennessee (WDEF) – Investigators trace a threat of a school shooting in our area actually came from out-of-state.
Last weekend, our local 911 Center got a call saying “someone is going to shoot up a school in two days” and then hanging up.
Investigators figured out that the call was made over VoIP app to disguise the callers number.
But they were able to trace it to Indiana.
Eventually they narrowed it to an address in the town of Clinton.
Clinton Police picked up a 13 year old male who they say admitted to making the call.
Investigators concluded it was not a viable threat.
Sheriff Garrett says “I am proud of the rapid response by our personnel and the diligent efforts they made to not only investigate this threat, but to track down the suspect in another state involved in this incident.”
