Looking Ahead to February 29, 2016

Hamilton County Sheriff Jim Hammond will be at Ooltewah High School today, but not because of a recent school threat. The Sheriff had already planned to hold a LAWS program there this morning. LAWS focuses on opening lines of communication between students and law enforcement and any serious issues students may be facing at school.

CADAS will break ground today on a new 24 unit sober living community located at the corner of Manning and Minor Streets in Chattanooga. The new apartments will house single men and women in one bedroom apartments. Support services such as relapse prevention, life skills and community meetings will be available for residents.

Tennessee Senator Bob Corker headlines the inaugural session of the U-T-C School of Business Leadership Speaker Series. Corker will pull from his background as a businessman and Commissioner of Finance for today’s lecture.
