Looking back at past shooting cases involving Stephen Mobley
Chief Fred Fletcher named Stephen Maurice Mobley as the suspect in Monday’s triple shooting in East Brainerd.
“Mobley is considered armed and dangerous man.”
“We do have every reason to believe Mobley shot 3 people yesterday.”
Stephen Maurice Mobley is the suspect Chattanooga Police, along with other law enforcement agencies are searching for.
According to Chief Fletcher, “Mobley is no stranger to law enforcement.”
In 2005 Mobley was involved in a shooting at College Hill Courts…which resulted in the death of Elton Hall.
Molbley sent Police on a manhunt for several hours, but was later located at hist mothers home.
“Mobley is no stranger to our courts.”
Mobley was convicted of manslaughter…but was later released from prison in 2010.
Then just two years later, Mobley found himself back behind bars.
Mobley was accused of the death of Gregory Watkins at the Delta Express Gas Station.

Chief Fletcher said “Unforunatley, that trial ended in a hung jury.”
Mobley has now been added to the T-B-I’s Most wanted list.
Chief Fletcher added “Stephen Maurice Mobley, a 32-year-old black male, for first degree murder times two. Attempted first degree murder times one, aggravated assault times two and possession with a firearm with during a dangerous felony.”
“CPD and our partners such as the district attorney and United States Marshall Service are working diligently to bring Mobley into custody to face justice he deserves.”
