Lookouts Beat the Biscuits 3-2 For Their Fourth Straight Win

(lookouts.com) CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) – Nick Gordon scored on a wild pitch in the eighth inning, leading the Chattanooga Lookouts to a 3-2 win over the Montgomery Biscuits on Friday. It was their fourth consecutive victory.

Gordon scored on the play after he reached base on a walk and advanced to second on a groundout.

The Biscuits tied the game 2-2 when Grant Kay hit an RBI single, bringing home Cade Gotta in the seventh.

Todd Van Steensel (4-1) got the win with a scoreless inning in relief while Ian Gibaut (2-1) took the loss in the Southern League game. Mason Melotakis retired the side in order for his fourth save of the season.

Chattanooga is now 22-0 this season when leading after eight innings.
