Lookouts blast past BayBears, 13-5

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Chattanooga Lookouts returned the Scenic City for a five-game homestead against the Mobile BayBears. Lookouts made easy work of the BayBears Sunday, scoring 13 runners on just seven hits.

Lookouts scored three runs in the first two innings.

Then a nine-run fifth helped accelerate the team over the BayBears. Three runs were walked in by BayBear pitcher Samil De Los Santos; another came in from a wild pitch.

Mobile attempted a comeback in the eighth, scoring five runs, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the 13-runs-strong Lookouts.

Lookouts host the BayBears again Monday at 7:15 p.m.
